It is a dish that originated in Spain. You heat the ingredients of your choice with garlic and olive oil, toss them with a bucket, and eat it ajillo. At our restaurant, we serve ajillo with jicama and kujo leeks. Ahijo goes well with seafood, and the salty jako is a perfect match. The delicious Kyoto-style Kujo leeks add a nice accent to the dish. Of course, since it is an ajillo dish, it is served on a bucket.
The restaurant also offers today's araoni, which uses Kyoto's delicious local sake and is made from fish purchased that day, as well as excellent Kyoto-style tempura served with aromatic yuzu bean paste. As a restaurant where you can casually enjoy strong wind cuisine at any time of the day, it is always available to both visitors and locals in Kyoto.
