The leaves on the trees are gradually changing color, signaling the deepening of autumn.
How is everyone doing?
Autumn is also known as the season of taste, and rice is delicious. It also becomes chilly, which makes us want to eat warm dishes.
In this issue, we would like to introduce the pork from Kyoto Prefecture that we use in our restaurant.
Kyoto Pork is a brand-name pork from Kyoto developed since 1983.
Landrace, Large Yorkshire, and Duroc breeds were crossbred and named "Kyoto Pork" in 1991.
They are raised by controlling the breed, breeding method, and shipping destination.
This pork has tender meat with a sweet taste.
Our restaurant serves Kyoto pork in shabu-shabu.
The menu name is "Kyoto Pork Shabu Shabu" and is available from two servings.
Enjoy it with vegetables and mushrooms such as Chinese cabbage, leeks, shiitake mushrooms, shimeji mushrooms and enoki mushrooms, which are in season in autumn.
You can add cartilage tsukune, seasonal vegetables, assorted mushrooms, and Sanuki udon noodles which are good for shime. Don't worry if you want more Kyoto pork! You can add Kyoto pork, too.
