Kyomachi-Shizuku's carefully selected shochu! | Kyomachishizuku Kyoto Ekimae

Hello, this is Kyomachishizuku Kyoto Ekimae Store PR Manager.

As the weather gets hotter, you may miss refreshing drinks that go down your throat.

Shochu is a must for such people.

Shochu has the appeal of being able to be drunk in a variety of ways, and can be enjoyed with water, on the rocks, or with hot water, depending on your preference.

In this issue, Kyomachi-Shizuku will introduce our carefully selected authentic shochu.

The origin of shochu! Kurokirishima

Kurokirishima is made from Kogane Sengan, a sweet potato grown in the vast sweet potato fields of southern Kyushu.

The origin of shochu and the roots of Kirishima Shuzo, it has a crisp, heavy flavor with a mild sweetness and a lingering hint of bitterness.

Refreshing citrus aroma! Tomino Hozan

Tomino Hozan is made from carefully selected "Kogane Sengan" and carefully brewed at low temperature. It has a light aroma when poured into a glass, but a deep flavor when sipped. It is an elegant potato shochu with a fresh citrus aroma and a crisp, clean mouthfeel. We recommend drinking this shochu on the rocks!

Fruity bird feeder

Torikai is a representative rice shochu of Kuma shochu, created with brewing techniques and originality built up over a long period of time. It is an authentic unrefined shochu made by brewing with home-cultivated yeast and yellow malted rice, then distilling the aromatic, fruity unrefined spirit at low temperature through reduced pressure. After distillation, it is aged for six months before shipping.

We have a wide variety of shochu other than those introduced here, so please try them at our restaurant.

Our restaurant offers creative Japanese cuisine made from carefully selected ingredients in a completely private room that creates the elegant atmosphere of the ancient capital. Our original menu boasts healthy tofu, yuba (bean curd), fish, and meat dishes. Our private rooms with a relaxing atmosphere and a reproduction of a Kyoto garden are very popular with our guests. We offer a variety of courses, from all-you-can-drink girls' night out courses to more luxurious and hearty courses. For birthday and anniversary celebrations, we can prepare a whole cake, so please feel free to contact us.
